AID .... CAMP ..... A MEDICAL CAMP ....... A KOLHAPUR MEDICAL CAMP

For the welfare of the people in the ruler areas, medical camps are being conducted. For the past five years, a unique mega medical camp is being conducted in backward area of Kolhapur District, covering nearly 200 villages. The medical team comprises of Physicians, Ophthalmologists, Dentists, Paediatricians, Gynecologists, ENT surgeons, Cardiologists, Orthopaedicians and General Practitioners.

This medical camp is a socio-cultural activity undertaken by "Shree Aniruddh Upasana Foundation (SAUF)". The organization was incorporated as a charitable organization under Section 25 of the Companies Act, 1956, in April 2005.

This camp activity is being conducted by SAUF from last five years. This medical camp covers some thing around 200 villages of the Kolhapur district.The medical camp team consist of various experts of the medical field.

This is one day camp with the few months planning, preparation efforts. The post camp activities that is, regular checkup is well maintained.

collection of every village


Major Activities of the Camp
  1. Medical check up of 16,300 villagers (including 7,639 students from 108 schools)
  2. Distribution of medicines free of cost (Medicines, Tonics, Syrups, etc.)
  3. Distribution of spectacles to the needy villagers, after their proper eye check up.
  4. Distribution of 2 sets of Uniforms to school children. 15268 sets of uniforms were distributed to 7634 students during the camp 2008. (Uniforms are stitched using the cloth prepared under Charkha Yojana)
  5. Distribution of candles & matchboxes to the school going children under the “Light of knowledge project” (Vidya Prakash Yojana)
  6. Distribution of caps, slippers, sports materials for school children.
  7. Distribution of Hygiene material such as water purification liquid, anti-lice lotion, tooth
  8. powder, soaps, combs, etc. and to make villagers aware about the importance of the hygiene in their day-to-day life.
  9. Distribution of the used cloths & quilts under the “Warmth of love project” (Maayechi Oob Yojana)
